Comedy is a popular meaning, is any humorous discourse generally intended to amuse, especially in television, film, and stand up comedy. There is also other early forms of comedy which were from the Ancient Greek, and the Ancient Roman. The Greek and Romans confined the word "comedy" to descriptions of stage-plays with happy endings. Also there are multiple forms of comedy that can be divided in genres. These are some genres involved drama, tragedy, comedy, tragicomedy, romance, satire, epic, and lyric. Major forms of comedy are split in simple groups such as major forms, and minor forms. The major forms are dance, music, opera, theatre, and circus. The minor forms are magic, and puppetry. So all of these past events led to the word comedian someone who seeks to entertain an audience, primarily by making them laugh. Furthermore other words my have been created like the word humor which is the tendency of particular cognitive experiences to provoke laughter and provide amusement. Any means necessary this could be related to hysterical which is informally considered wildly funny.
